My broad areas of interest are Christianity, New Religious Movements, and Ritual Theory, with focuses on performance theory, religion and popular culture, and modern Satanism. I am writing my thesis on the construction and development of the notion of "evil" in New Religious Movements. I have published, lectured, and received various media attention regarding my specialty, the Church of Satan.
